crypto-tickets used for the first time at Kraftwerk show. Past week at crypto.tickets: weekly update.
Dear crypto.tickets community,
It’s time for our weekly update and here is what we’ve been up to.
First of all, the most exciting news:
crypto-tickets were used at a large scale event for the first time in the world: at Kraftwerk show on February 13th, 2018.
For the first time ever, Kraftwerk fans have utilised Etherium-based crypto-tickets at the band’s show at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
“This is a proof-of-concept of how blockchain works in ticketing for large events. I was happy to talk to people, who had used crypto-tickets for the first time in the world”, — says Egor Egerev, CEO of Crypto.tickets.
Crypto.tickets was used as blockchain-based ticketing platform by TCI, the promoter of Kraftwerk concert in Moscow. First crypto-tickets were sold in November 2017. Consumers had to download a mobile application to purchase a crypto-ticket and pass through gate control on the show night.
Crypto.tickets platform provides organisers with such features as tracking the entire lifecycle of every crypto-ticket, controlling secondary sales including pricing policy, preventing fraud, quick analytics of the show attendance.
“Kraftwerk concert is a milestone in the development of Crypto.tickets as a ticketing platform. In November 2017 we were using its prototype, and today we can present this show as a test and first implementation of the system at a large show. All features of the system performed well”, — this is how Egor Egerev describes the results.
Crypto.tickets is going to present a new version of its platform at the beginning of March 2018 at ILMC conference in London.
Next week, on February 19th in Luxembourg Egor Egerev, Founder & CEO of crypto.tickets and crypto.tickets Co-founder and Business Development Director Katerina Kirillova will be delivering a keynote at LPEA Insights 2018.
March 6–9th, London: We’ll be hosting a panel discussion on blockchain & cryptocurrencies at ILMC30.
